EVENT
Bringing Comfort Through Poetry During COVID
DEATH
is not a topic that’s often discussed, but it’s an inevitable reality of every human life. Without taking steps towards acceptance, those facing this crisis of existence may find themselves feeling lost and overwhelmed - struggling to find the light.
During this period of intense vulnerability, palliative care provides medical, financial, and emotional support for the individuals affected and all who are close to them. Care for the spirit in particular is important to sustain hope during this long journey.

OUR POETRY BOOK
titled, To Let the Light In, is a compilation of 111 poems, in 11 languages (with English translations), submitted by various individuals from around the Asia Pacific during the pandemic. Each of whom has a story to share about the topic on life and death.
With this anthology, Sing Lit Station (SLS) and the Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network (APHN) aim to increase awareness for the concept of hospice and palliative care, and to facilitate thoughtful discourse surrounding this topic.
